Day One

        0700-1700        Mandatory Candidate Orientation and Practice Day

Candidates will be assigned a time slot to arrive at the testing facility.  All candidates must report on time or will be dismissed.  The testing facility is located at the Volusia County Fire Services Institute at 3889 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach, FL  32124.

If a candidate completes the CPAT course by the required time, they will not be required to take the physical portion again.  All candidates who do not complete the course within the required time will be required to return on Day Two.

No written testing will be administered on Day One.  All candidates will be required to return on Day Two at 1800 for the written exam.  The written exam will be given at the same location.

                            

 

Day Two

The written test will be administered to ALL candidates at 1800.  No candidates will be permitted to enter the testing facility after 1800.

Candidates will be assigned a time slot to arrive at the testing facility.  All candidates must report on time or will be dismissed.  The testing facility is located at the Volusia County Fire Services Institute at 3889 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach, FL  32124.

All candidates who do not complete the course within the required time will be reported to the fire departments as unsuccessful.  If they would like to participate in the next FESS process they will need to submit a new application and fee once the next FESS process is announced.
