The mission of the DeLand Fire Department is to provide the highest quality of fire protection, prevention, and suppression, as well as emergency medical service by professional firefighters and reserves who are highly skilled and technically trained individuals. Since we are a city with limited resources; we are always mindful of the financial impact on our tax paying citizens.
